Yalumba, cea mai veche cramă de familie din Australia, este situată în Valea Barossa, în apropiere de oraşul Angaston. Fondată de Samuel Smith, un producător de bere britanic care a emigrat în Australia în 1847, Yalumba este una dintre cele mai cunoscute şi apreciate crame ale Australiei. De acolo vine şi recomandarea noastră, Yalumba Menzies The Cigar, un Cabernet Sauvignon de culoare prunei, care dezvăluie mai întâi un buchet cu arome de cireşe, ciocolată şi stejar. Pe palat, regăsim note vibrante de afine şi rubarbă, ciocolată şi praline. Degustaţi acest vin la 16-18 grade Celsius, alături de carne roşie, mâncăruri vegetariene cu sos sau brânzeturi maturate.
